The Healing Commission

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. (Mat 4:23 KJV)

Every city, every town, every village of Jerusalem became the centre of miracle! Can you imagine the healing power of God flooded the nation like a Tsunami! Healing the sick was an integral part of the ministry of Jesus. The full Gospel of Jesus Christ encompasses teaching, preaching and healing, yet the manifestation of healing is not as commonly witnessed in today's times.

The 12 commissioned with authority

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. (Luk 9:1-2 KJV)

The 70 commissioned with authority

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. (Luk 10:1 KJV)

The 120 commissioned with authority

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (the company of persons was in all about 120) and said, (Act 1:8,15 ESV)

All believing believers commissioned with authority

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."(Mar 16:16-18 ESV)

Mandate of Miracle

Every believers has been given a mandate to invade into impossible. It's the mandate of miracle. I firmly believe that the ability to bring about healing is not limited to those specifically called into ministry of healing or anointed by God. According to the standard of bible, every believer is commissioned with the authority to heal the sick in Jesus' name. Bill Johnson said ‘It is abnormal for a Christian not to have an appetite for the impossible. It has been written into our spiritual DNA to hunger for the impossibilities around us to bow at the name of Jesus.’

Testimony
